Gerard Place is transitional housing for single parent families with up to 3 children under the age of 13 and pregnant women in the third trimester. Residents may stay for up to 2 years. Gerard Place provides assistance, advocacy and referral in the areas of: life skills, education, health care, spiritual care, social services, work readiness, goal formation, money management, recovery support/linkage, and location of permanent housing.

Jewish Family Service helps make job loss, career planning, college selection and job seeking a little easier. Jewish Family Service is funded by the United Way, the Jewish Federation, the Erie County Department of Mental Health, the New York State Office of Mental Health, program fees and private contributions. The Agency receives third party reimbursement from insurance companies and Health Maintenance organizations. It is also an affiliate of the Niagara Behavioral Health Care Network.

Marine For Life’s ultimate purpose is to maintain a mutually beneficial, lifelong relationship between the Marine Corps and Marines who leave the Corps. We help ensure that all honorably discharged Marines can remain a part of the Marine Corps family and benefit from our Marine-friendly network of support.
